Our Leadership Team
Julian Harris, MD, MBA
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr. Julian Harris, Chairman and CEO of ConcertoCare, has a decades-long career of strategic and operational leadership and health care innovation, with leadership roles in the private sector, state government, and the federal government. Previously, Dr. Harris served as President of Care Allies, a group of Cigna-affiliated population health management and home-based primary care companies. Earlier at Cigna, Dr. Harris led U.S. Strategic Operations across Cigna's commercial and government businesses. He also managed internal investments in technology and innovation that accelerated the delivery of value-based care and digital health solutions.
Before joining Cigna, Dr. Harris served as an adviser to Google Ventures (GV), focused on tech-enabled health care services. Prior to GV, he led the healthcare team in the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). As the federal government's Chief Health Care Finance Official, he oversaw $1 trillion in spending and provided management and policy oversight for a range of programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation. During Harris' time at OMB, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the CMS Innovation Center greatly accelerated the development and implementation of value-based care programs focused on improving quality and reducing costs.
Prior to OMB, Dr. Harris served as the Chief Executive of the $11 billion Massachusetts Medicaid program. During his tenure, the agency deepened its partnerships with the state's Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and developed a unique, capitation-based Medicaid Accountable Care Organization (ACO) program. He and his team also built an integrated approach to addressing medical, behavioral, and unmet social needs into the country's first Medicare-Medicaid capitated duals demonstration, authorized by the Affordable Care Act.
Dr. Harris trained in internal medicine and primary care at Brigham and Women's Hospital and served on the clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School. He practiced as a hospitalist at Cambridge Health Alliance and worked as a clinical consultant at Best Doctors, an expert second opinion service. Dr. Harris graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Policy and Medical Ethics from Duke University. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he serves as an adjunct professor. In addition, Dr. Harris is an Operating Partner at Deerfield.
Dinesh Ganesan
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Dinesh Ganesan is a seasoned financial strategist with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ganesan leads ConcertoCare’s finance, accounting, and treasury functions.
Previously, he served as CFO at Kaiser Permanente for all markets outside of California, overseeing financial strategy for both care delivery and health plan operations. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Ganesan served as CFO of Johns Hopkins Medicine International, providing financial leadership to international patient care operations as well as joint ventures and affiliations in 15 countries.
Earlier in his career, Ganesan held several financial, strategy, and corporate development leadership roles at Cigna, including CFO for the U.S. employer segments and provider network. Ganesan has also worked at GE Healthcare, Ernst & Young, and KPMG Consulting.
Dr. Cristine Oropez
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Cristine Oropez is a physician executive and board-certified practicing internist and pulmonologist with experience providing care and longitudinal care management support to improve health outcomes for aging adults. She joined ConcertoCare in 2021 and has served as Chief Medical Officer since 2024, driving transformative work in care pathways, specialty care, and interdisciplinary programs to address care gaps and unmet health needs through our innovative home-based care delivery model.
Dr. Oropez trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and has served on the clinical faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Prior to joining the ConcertoCare team, Dr. Oropez served patients at CareMore and Aspire Health, where she led care delivery teams in the western US region, including primary care, acute care, home-based palliative care, complex wraparound care, and population health programs for Medicare and dual eligible patients. During her time at CareMore, she also built a hybrid care model serving older adults with chronic lung disease through integration of specialty care support and comprehensive interdisciplinary care programs across ambulatory clinic and home-based settings that successfully reduced avoidable hospital utilization.
Kari Butler, MBA
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Kari Butler is a dedicated Operations leader with a strong passion for value-based care, driven by a belief in the ability to improve healthcare outcomes through innovative approaches. Passionate about driving positive change, she continues to leverage her knowledge and skills to create sustainable impacts in healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
Prior to joining ConcertoCare, Kari served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Signify Health, a prominent provider of in-home health evaluations. With over 13 years at Signify, Kari was able to help grow the company from its infancy to become the leading provider of in-home health evaluations in the marketplace today. Kari holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Nevada Griffin
CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER
As Chief Growth Officer, Nevada leads growth strategy/operations, business development & partner success, and marketing for ConcertoCare, advancing the company’s mission to meet the complex health care needs of vulnerable seniors nationwide.
Prior to joining ConcertoCare, he served as interim Head of Uber Health where he led operations, strategy, and business development. Before Uber Health, he was an Expert Consultant with McKinsey & Company’s healthcare practice, where he advised health leaders across payers, providers, and public agencies on a range of topics related to digital and value-based care, population health, and data/analytics strategy.
Nevada has a dual Master of Health Policy and Administration (MPH) and International Affairs (MA) from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from Bard College
Katherine Ziegler, BSN, MHA

Katherine Ziegler has been with ConcertoCare – a tech-enabled, value-based provider of at-home, comprehensive care for older adults – since 2021, serving as Senior Vice President of Population Health, and additionally, more recently, as Chief Nursing Officer.
With more than 30 years of experience helping providers, payers, and other health care organizations succeed in value-based care, Katherine is responsible for developing and operating programs that improve clinical, quality, and cost outcomes for ConcertoCare’s patient population.
Prior to joining ConcertoCare, Katherine served as Regional Vice President of Population Health and Clinical Operations for Centene Corporation, one of the nation’s largest government programs insurers. In addition to providing support for the population health functions of Centene’s local markets, she led the organization’s Medicare population health strategy and clinical operations for plans across the country.
Katherine also served as Director of Clinical Transformation for Navigant Consulting, where she worked with health systems across the country to develop accountable care and value-based care programs. Prior to Navigant, Katherine worked with Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions division, implementing payer-provider partnership models. Katherine helped craft the care management and clinical integration infrastructures for one of the initial pioneering ACOs, where she also led the managed care and clinical integration functions for fully at-risk medical groups.
Jennifer Bryant
general counsel & chief compliance officer
Jennifer Bryant has focused on regulatory infrastructure and innovation for the healthcare industry throughout her 20-year legal career. As General Counsel and Compliance Officer, she guides ConcertoCare on all legal affairs and regulatory compliance matters to ensure the delivery of vital patient care at home. She navigates the organization through the myriad regulatory and legal requirements necessary to meet the complex health care needs of seniors and other adults.
Prior to joining ConcertoCare, Bryant led legal, compliance, and government affairs for Pacific Dental Services (PDS), one of the country's leading dental support organizations. At PDS, she was instrumental in building the legal backbone of the billion-dollar company and developing a top-performing team to support the fast-paced, high-growth company. Bryant was also a key player in protecting the industry from harmful legislation. and regulatory activity.
Bryant holds a J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles.
Brian Davis, MD

With more than 20 years in the healthcare and life sciences industries, Dr. Brian Davis brings unique clinical and operational acumen to the ConcertoCare leadership team.
As Chief Customer Officer, Dr. Brian Davis leads efforts to strengthen customer partnerships and maximize value across the organization. Combining extensive clinical experience with operational excellence, he is focused on advancing care delivery and improving outcomes for the populations ConcertoCare serves. During his tenure at ConcertoCare, Dr. Davis has led multiple strategic implementations and helped formalize key operational teams — from quality coding and documentation, to network management, and patient engagement.
Prior to ConcertoCare, Dr. Davis served as an engagement manager at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consulting firm, where he advised healthcare and life sciences leaders on life cycle management, revenue growth strategy, due diligence, company and product valuations, market opportunity assessments, and revenue forecasting. Dr. Davis holds an M.D. from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine.
Shahid Alam
Chief information officer
Shahid brings more than 22 years of strategic leadership experience in the healthcare provider and payer sectors. As Chief Information Officer, he delivers technology solutions and innovation that support and drive improved healthcare outcomes for ConcertoCare’s patients.
Before ConcertoCare, Shahid served as Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Circulo Health, overseeing the health tech organization’s operations and information technology. Before his role at Circulo Health, Shahid was the Chief Information Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, leading the maturation and integration of information technology and product management.
Rachel Grace

As Chief People Officer, she takes a strategic approach when assessing business priorities to identify and align human capital solutions. Her focus is to grow talent and develop leaders by creating a culture that facilitates an optimal employee experience and organizational productivity.
Prior to joining ConcertoCare, Rachel was the Senior Director of Human Resources at Quest Diagnostics, where she expanded her experience beyond HR by assuming a commercial-facing role as a member of the Quest for Health Equity team. Before Quest Diagnostics, Rachel was the Vice President and New York/New Jersey Regional Human Resources Business Partner at Chubb. In this role she led a team of HR professionals to advance business priorities.
Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and two master’s degrees from Rutgers University — a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) and a Master of Labor and Employment Relations (MLER). In addition, she has an Organizational Development certificate from National Training Laboratory (NTL).
