Julian Harris, MD, MBA

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dr. Julian Harris is Chairman and CEO of ConcertoCare, a tech enabled, value-based provider delivering comprehensive, at-home care to seniors and adults with complex health and social needs.

Previously, he served as President of CareAllies, a Cigna-affiliated population health and home-based care platform and led US Strategic Operations at Cigna. He also worked as an adviser to Google Ventures. Prior to Cigna, Harris  led healthcare at the White House Office of Management and Budget, overseeing approximately $1 trillion in federal healthcare spending and policy, and served as chief executive of the $11B Massachusetts Medicaid program.

An internal medicine physician trained at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, and is an Operating Partner at Deerfield.  Harris holds his MBA in health care management from Wharton and his BA from Duke, where he studied health policy and medical ethics.

This work is personal for Julian. In his words,

“Watching my grandfather spend his 80s carrying for my grandmother, who had Alzheimer’s disease with Parkinsonian features and other chronic conditions, inspired my interest in building a model of care that enables seniors and other adults with complex health conditions to receive integrated care in their homes and support navigating our fragmented health care system.

My passion for ensuring that our health care system drives both quality and affordability over the long run drives my commitment to scaling our model.”
